Situation

The client is a network of cosmetics and household goods "Optima". The company's stores are represented in 36 cities, delivery service operates throughout Russia. The client has been on the market for more than 10 years. During this time they have become well recognized in the territory of Udmurtia.

The task was to launch the mobile application as soon as possible. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Russia, it was also important to create a safe service for order receiving. So the second task arose - to organize a contactless delivery system for customers.

Solution
  • We connected Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Sberbank Online. The user can pay for the order with a bank card directly in the application. Shopping has become faster and more convenient.
  • We developed an interface for the courier delivery. In the context of the coronavirus, we helped the store to develop and launch contactless courier delivery so that customers can be confident in their safety.
  • PUSH-notifications implementation. Users can be notified about the status of their orders, promotions and discounts right in the application.
  • We developed a cross-platform application. Cross-platform is an application suitable for both IOS and Android. A native interface was developed for each system. Due to the fact that there was no need to create two applications, we were able to shorten the project delivery time and save the client's money.
  • We integrated the application via API with the online store. Thereby users see the correct information on the availability of goods. An accurate accounting of goods is carried out.
  • We integrated the application with MindBox CRM. The marketing management system helps to set up PUSH notifications both in the online store and in the mobile application. Personal loyalty programs for customers can be also set up in the system.
  • We developed the project in self-isolation mode. At first, there were problems with the competent communication building between different specialists. Nevertheless, we managed to create an effective communication system, in which tasks were performed promptly and efficiently. The application was developed in 3 months.
  • We published the application in the AppStore and Google Play. We periodically monitor users feedback and fix bugs.

Results
  • The app has received good ratings from users: Google Play - 4.4, App Store - 5. It has been downloaded by over 1,300 Android users and over 1,000 IOS users. Android users download the app and make purchases more often.
  • ¼ part of all orders of the store are received through the application. Considering that the application has been functioning for a little over a month, this is an excellent indicator. From May 1 to May 27, 2020, more than 600 orders were made in the application for more than 300,000 rubles.
