Situation
The client is a retail chain of Moscow flower shops. The company has 5 offline flower shops & 1 online flower shop with a staff of more than 60 people. The client has been coming on the market since 2010.
The main project goal is to develop a mobile application for flower purchases with 2 types of delivery. These are delivery by courier & pick up from the store.
Project tasks:
- IOS-based mobile application development.
- Development according to the client's design.
- Application catalog should have the function of viewing bouquets in 3D.
- In the application there is should be online payment by credit card.
- Compliance with 54 Federal Law on the use of online cash registers.
Solution
- The development was carried out according to the technical specifications provided by the customer. We estimated the development cost, then we signed an agreement and started developing the product.
- We developed the product on Objective C++. During the development process, the intermediate versions were demonstrated every 2-3 weeks to control each stage of development.
- We set up metrics in Google Analytics to track sales funnel stats.
- We conducted joint testing of the project, fixed all issues, and passed all acceptance tests.
- We created a personal account for the application in AppStore and published the app.
- The warranty support for the project lasted 6 months, during which all emerging issues were quickly resolved.

Results
- 21% of orders from the entire customer traffic come via the mobile application.
- The application is available in AppStore since 2016 and it has been installed 1,127 times.
- The application has a personal account with the possibility to attach a discount card, as well as to store bank card details, and to simplify the process of re-purchase.
- The application complies with 54 Federal Law, and it implements such features as 3D viewing of bouquets, activation of promo codes, PUSH-notifications about changes in order statuses.
