Goal

The client, an experienced yachtsman, approached us with the idea to develop an online service for booking yachts and motorboats. We worked on the project from a clean slate: from the initial idea and launch to development and ongoing support.

Our solution

Gathered initial requirements from the client. We asked numerous questions during discussions, documenting everything in a Technical Specification. We estimated effort and timelines, drew up a contract specifying deadlines and responsibilities.

Developed a prototype and design for the service, plus the admin panel interface.

Set up automatic import of yacht data from external sources.

Implemented responsive design layout for mobile devices.

Installed Yandex Metrika counters on the site to track and analyse traffic, and configured goals for conversion monitoring.

Launched the service into production.

The SEARADAR service allows finding and renting yachts worldwide.
The database covers 50 countries with active offers and over 14,000 boats (yachts, motorboats, catamarans) for rent.
The web service is mobile-adapted.
The web service has English and Russian versions.
