A technical specification was drawn up and labour costs were estimated. Tasks were grouped into sprints and demonstrated to the client incrementally, with feedback gathered and amendments made at each stage.
The core features of the solution were developed, including attendance tracking and progress monitoring. Email notifications for courses were configured. The solution was integrated with SAP.
During live operation, new client requirements emerged:- The participant registration mechanism was revised. In the first version of the system, only company employees could register. The updated version removes this restriction. User access rights were also differentiated.
- Flexible template-based system notifications were configured. Each event in the system has its own customisable notification scenario. For example, when a new employee registers, the scenario specifies after how long they should receive training notifications, while responsible personnel are notified of the registration immediately. The client can modify any scenario at any time.
- Course recurrence settings were added. The system allows the frequency of any required courses to be defined. This is most commonly used for health and safety and occupational safety training.
- The system was integrated with the employee working hours tracking module. Each employee's training schedule is displayed in calendar format, showing course start and end dates. The client can quickly view the training workload across all staff in a single location.
